Which Pipe Supports Are You Specifying?

Hello!

Over the course of any major project, service engineers may have to install thousands of pipe clamps/clips across a building. When working with these supports, it is important to ensure there is a layer of insulation material between the metal clip and the pipework to prevent heat transfer.

The short video below explains why insulated pipe supports should be used and refers to the guidance set out in BS 5970: 2012 (Thermal insulation of pipework, ductwork, associated equipment and other industrial installations in the temperature range of -100°C to +870°C. Code of practice).
