All Church Prayer This Sunday: from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Parlor. This is a time when we seek God together and ask him to work in mighty ways through our church ministries and in the lives of those with particular burdens. James says, “You do not have because you do not ask.” Come and ask with us. |

The elders would like the congregation to know that we have invited Peter Flowers to join our meetings for a 6-month period of mutual evaluation. At the end of that period, if we decide to proceed with his official candidacy as an elder, we will seek more formal congregational feedback. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact elders Charles Marrin or Brian Dellinger. |

Help us as a church show that we care for the Upper Valley community by participating in a service project in Lebanon! We plan to help install kiosks, signage, and benches along the Mascoma River Greenway Rail Trail on Saturday, October 26 from 9 am to noon. |

BACON BACON BACON! The Men's Breakfast is NEXT Saturday, October 12th! Breakfast will be in the Fellowship Hall from 8:00 am to 9:30 am. All men from age 13 to very old are invited and encouraged to attend this "all you can eat, including Bacon" gathering of Christian men to enjoy fellowship. Our guest speaker will be Zach Bryan giving a talk on Fatherhood. Be sure to reserve the date and bring your friends and neighbors. |

Are you new to Valley Bible Church? Or maybe you have been attending for a while and you just feel new and want to make some connections and hear more about the church. Whatever the case may be we invite you to attend our Newcomer Brunch on October 20th during the ABF hour! Come and meet our Pastor Neal Patel and other newcomers and enjoy some build-your-own waffles. Our goal is to keep this time intimate so we are limiting registrations to 23 this time around. We can't wait to get to know you better! |

Scripture reading in the corporate worship gathering is a very important ministry. Join Charles Marrin and Pastor Erik in a training session to grow in the skill of publicly reading from the Bible with excellence. Sunday, October 27, from Noon to 2 PM. We will provide a light lunch and some homework preparation for you to do in advance. |

The VBC Holiday Choir is back and will be planning to sing during a couple of services near Christmas. If you are interested in singing, please contact Brian Dellinger, Jonica Leuthauser, or Kathleen Erisman. Prior choir experience is not necessary, though we welcome people who have some singing experience! :) |
