Champion Awards
The Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Councillor Margaret Thompson,  celebrated the amazing work of Connected Kingston’s Community Champions for helping residents find local services and activities to improve their independence and confidence.

11 Champions joined the Mayor in her parlour on the 9th September for high tea, during which they were all presented with badges as a token of appreciation.

The Mayor of Kingston upon Thames, Cllr Margaret Thompson, said: “I was honoured to host these wonderful Champions in my parlour and thank them for the work they have done. They have all played an important role in helping make this project a real success. Kingston has so much on offer, it is often that people don’t know where to find the information or how to get involved.”
