SRE Fall Enrichment – Registration Due October 3
There are new, exciting classes offered in the SRE Fall Enrichment Program. Classes are taught by our very own SRE faculty and staff, view the full list here. Contact Angela Stokes for scholarship opportunities and Dedra Bogden with general questions.
New SRE Gear Available to Order by October 4
SRE t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, and sweatshirts are now available online for purchase. Check out the new options under the Announcements section on the SRE PTO website. This link will be available until October 4, items ordered will be delivered in mid-October to SRE. Add your child's name and teacher in the section marked "Leave Tracy A Private Note (Optional)."
SRE Spirit Run – October 27
Join us for our first SRE Spirit Run. This event replaces the Spring SRE Scramble and includes a 1 mile run/walk for the whole family. Come show your SRE Spirit at this FREE family event!

Girls’ Geek Day: October 12
Once a month, a school in or around Albemarle County hosts a Girls' Geek Day. These Saturday mornings are all about sparking elementary school-aged girls’ interest in technology and computing. Girls participate in a fun, collaborative, hands-on environment to learn new tech skills. The next Girls’ Geek Day is being hosted by Crozet Elementary and is Saturday, October 12th from 9 am - 12 pm. Register here.
Gifted Services Community Meetings
Join a session regarding talent development and gifted services in Albemarle County Public Schools. The dates and locations of these sessions are as follows:
