We are back! We are hosting a special Vestpod event on Wednesday, October 2nd at one of our favourite places: Huckletree West in White City.
What to expect? A kick-ass panel of women discussing “Getting on the property ladder and renting better”, followed by a Q&A and then drinks.
Should I buy or should I rent? We can’t answer this for you but we will discuss both options and find you the best renting tips and buying strategies. We’ll talk landlord practices, saving for a deposit, negotiating a mortgage and more.
- Jade Vanriel is a property YouTuber and became a homeowner at the age of 23 without help from her parents! She first started working aged 16 and saved until she had enough for a deposit. - Vicky Spratt is the most passionate journalist and writer about protecting tenants (i newspaper, VICE uk and Refinery29)! Vicky is a documentary maker and housing rights campaigner and her 2016 campaign #MakeRentingFair highlighted the plight of 'Generation Rent' and succeeded in getting letting fees for tenants in England banned. No question is stupid or taboo so expect an empowering debate and prepare your questions for our pannellists. This event is for all levels and genders. We’ll kill the jargon and make it relevant for all. We are not financial advisers and this is purely an educational session!
