PTA Reflections Program Accepting Submissions through October 21st
We encourage all families to participate in our Bolts of Blue fundraising campaign. We would love to see each family donate at least $225. However, the minimum donation to be considered in the homeroom participation count is $50.00. It is the goal of every homeroom to have 100% participation with at least $1,800 collected. Each homeroom that reaches this goal will receive class prizes. Students who raise at least $225 in donations, will be eligible to attend our Student Lock-In or Parents Night Out on November 1st. See the Family Sponsorship form below for full details.
The deadline is Friday, October 4th for all incentives and homeroom participation.
Bolts of Blue Campaign Runs Through October 4, 2019 How Can You Help to Meet Our Fundraising Goal?
There are two full weeks left in our Bolts of Blue Campaign. If we look to our community and extended Lutz Preparatory supporters by spreading the word to businesses that support education we can without a doubt exceed our campaign goal! Please consider the following examples of additional ways to support Lutz Preparatory.
Share on Facebook and Other Social Meeting to Your Friends, Family, and Community Have you checked out our new Lutz Preparatory School Facebook page? Please like our page and then share our Bolts of Blue Campaign post on your personal Facebook page to get the word out to help us reach our goal.
Friends and Family Sample Letter for Donations
We have had a few parents ask for a sample letter to help their child(ren) spread the word to friends and family regarding the campaign. Click HERE for a sample letter.
Check with Your Employer to See if they Match Donations
Many of our parents' employers will match dollar-for-dollar donations to non-profit organizations like Lutz Prep. Check with your HR department to see if they offer this benefit. We also encourage our families to reach out to local businesses in your community for sponsorships in addition to potential employer matching benefits. Thank you to those families who have pursued this company matching option and DOUBLED their donation to support our school!

Leader in Me - Habit of the Month
Be Proactive
Each month our school will have one "habit of the month" that will be highlighted across all our grades. September's habit is Be Proactive:I am a responsible person. I take initiative. I choose my actions, attitudes, and moods. I do not blame others for my wrong actions. I do the right thing without being asked, even when no one is asking.
Weekly Activity to Support Habit:Be Proactive: Focus on what you can control, and look forward to the future.
