The FIPP World Media Congress

With over 60 sessions to choose from, the FIPP World Media Congress helps attendees equip their businesses for the future, while networking with peers from around the globe. Over the course of three days, delegates will learn from the world’s top media brands, including Condé Nast, Forbes and Nylon.

Congress sessions address innovation trends, change management, monetization, politics and trust. Each day will also feature formal networking sessions and 1:1 meetings to facilitate collaboration among global industry peers. The FIPP World Media Congress will also host the FIPP Incubator, a curated selection of media sector start-ups.

Business Information Media Summit

The 2019 Business Information Media Summit (BIMS) focuses on B2B publishing through five tracks: advertising, audience engagement, data, strategy, and technology. With over 60 expert speakers, there’s a broad spectrum of knowledge to gain. You will learn how to remain competitive when running a legacy business or how to eclipse the competition as a startup.

BIMS explores every facet of creating a dynamic and vital business. From playbooks for profit to building data products, the Summit focuses on providing publishers with the tools to manage the complexity of industry change. BIMS fosters an interactive exchange of ideas, best practices and connections that respect the past while building a sustainable future for the business media industry.

Member Catalogue Update: Please Verify Your Magazine Details


This month we will be verifying our member data in order to prepare for our brand-new member catalogue. The member catalogue is a part of our Discovering Canadian Magazines in a Changing Marketplace project. 

To facilitate this process, we are asking each member to confirm or update your publication information and to provide a high-res copy of your latest cover. You can find a copy of your magazine data here.

Please submit your updated descriptions and magazine covers by email to comms@magazinescanada.ca or upload your covers here by September 27, 2019.

Coordinated by Registered Graphic Designers (RGD), the conference explores the innovations and disruptions that inform, inspire and influence design.
