Alexis Loukota is the vice president of the Youth Democratic Committee for Charlotte County. Asked why people might object to climate change policies, she said, “It’s nice to live in ignorant bliss.”
“You don’t know how heartening it was to me to see all the young kids out here,” said Nancy Razvoza, president of the Charlotte County Democratic Committee.

In just 1 week we organized an event in Punta Gorda where approximately 70 people showed up as we participated in the largest Climate Event ever. Our group was made up of individuals from their teens to golden years, showing the broad concern for this critical issue. But, we are not done! Stay tuned for future events and actions. If you have any suggestions, comments or want to get more involved please let us know.
Change won't happen without you. We have many opportunities for you to help make our home, Florida, America, and the world better.
