We pray this letter finds you in a place of joy and thankfulness. We are currently living at our house in Ventura as we work on raising up a team who will come alongside us to reach the unreached of Mexico with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
|

Developing Relationships with our Support Team
While back in Ventura we have been meeting with families, enjoying meals together, and sharing about what we are endeavoring to do in Mexico, through the help of the Holy Spirit. We so appreciate the time and interest from those we've met with. It has been a great opportunity to meet new people and get to know others better. We are surrounded by people who love us. We are so thankful that the Lord has continually shown how much He loves us through the people He places around us.

So when are y'all leaving for Mexico?
Hopefully soon! We are aiming to leave by July 2020. We can't leave until we are at least 75% funded, but we're aiming for 100%. We're just getting started so we're only at 14%. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has decided to support us so far! We are incredibly grateful for each one of you.

Saying goodbye to Rebecca's Granddad for now...
On July 20th Rebecca's Granddad, Winston Sharp, went to be with Jesus. We drove up to Nampa, Idaho for his memorial in August. It was a beautiful time to remember his life, to praise the Lord that we can trust His promises are true, and to hug family we haven't seen in a while. Here is an excerpt from his obituary:
"Win loved the Lord with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength, adored his precious wife of nearly 64 years, and treasured his family deeply. He was a teaching leader for Bible study Fellowship, a member of Gideons International, home group leader, and faithfully prayed for those he loved to come to a saving knowledge of Christ....Winston Neal Sharp will be dearly missed by (his wife) Vivian, his entire family, and his many friends who had the blessing of knowing him."
What a huge blessing to have had a grandfather who lead his family so well and always pointed others to Jesus.

Los Niños
We began homeschool at the end of August. Isei is in 7th grade, and Ayin is in 1st. So far we have really enjoyed the days together, as we work in the backyard, or on the couch, or at the dining room table, or out at a park.
We begin each day with prayer and reading the Word, working to build their awareness that from Him all things flow. We also planted a garden in late August and it's already producing a harvest. How good our God is to give us the ability to grow food for ourselves.

We are really enjoying our new fixed up outdoor space that we use for school. Hammock swings give the kids a fun space to read, listen to stories, or play on.

My good friend, Amy gave us this book to read and I loved every page of it. It's 30 days of prayer for unreached people groups, and it filled my heart with joy.
