Hello from Orlando, Florida!

I'm actually writing this message from Miami, Florida, but I'll be in Orlando when it is scheduled for delivery (6 a.m.). Later today, I'll pass through Miami, Dallas, Houston and Miami again, before finally arriving in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil tomorrow morning. Jumping around a lot today, so to speak!

This trip to Rio will be a short one, just long enough to get a feel for accessibility in advance of my longer trip there next month.

On Saturday, I went to see the Miami Marlins and Washington Nationals plat baseball in Miami. It was a fun, extra-innings affair. My own St. Louis Cardinals had a great weekend in Chicago, sweeping the four-game series against the Cubs and clinching a postseason berth. October baseball is going to be a lot of fun!

In each newsletter, I share a photo taken since my last message. The photo above was taken at Boston Logan Airport. Baggage lifts have been installed at some jet bridges, making it easy to move wheelchairs down to the ramp for loading on the airplane. My wheelchair is on the lift pictured above, and it helps guarantee a safe & prompt delivery on arrival. Every jet bridge should have one.
