November Plymouth Mental Health Network Meeting Details

Once again, apologies for having to cancel the September 19th PMHN meeting at short notice.

The November 19th PMHN network meeting will be held at Quaker House at 9:00 am.

At this meeting we are hoping to look at Mental Health Transformation with Livewell and Prevention Concordat. The agenda for this meeting will be sent out closer to the meeting date.

Head Space - 7 Days a Week

Starting from Tuesday 1st of October, Head Space will be open 7 days a week due to the opening of the service at the Cumberland Centre. Head Space will be open from 6pm to 10pm in the following locations:

  • Monday & Tuesday – Four Greens Wellbeing Hub, Whitleigh Green, Plymouth, PL5 4DD
  • Wednesday – The Rees Centre, Mudge Way, Plympton, PL7 2PS
  • Thursday & Friday – The Cumberland Centre, Damerell Close, Devonport, Plymouth, PL1 4JZ
  • Saturday & Sunday – The Jan Cutting Centre, Scott Business Park, Beacon Park Road, Plymouth, PL2 2PQ

Colebrook/PHMN Address Change

Colebrook SW has moved their office to a new location. As the admin side of the Plymouth Mental Health Network is in care of Colebrook, this means that PMHN has moved with it.

Emotional Logic – ‘Coming Through Stronger’ Updated Information

Emotional Logic a family-centred lifelong, conversational method of support which looks to help people understand emotions and turn negative experiences/feelings of grief and loss into positive action.

In the next few months, Emotional Logic will be running workshops to help others gain a skill in understanding Emotional Logic. Within the workshop, topics, such as what Emotional Logic can provide and who it is for will be covered.

The introductory workshops to Emotional Logic will take place at Moments Cafe, New George Street, PL1 1RJ on the following dates and times:

  • Thursday 3rd October – 9:30-16:00

The follow-on practical course which allows you to practice creative conversations will be held at Moments Cafe, New George Street, PL1 1RJ on the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday 30th October – 9:30-16:00
  • Thursday 21st November – 9:30-16:00
