2018 Impact Factor

We are proud to announce that the 2018 Impact Factor for PaPaS is 8.316. This is an increase on the 2017 Impact Factor which was 7.286. For more information please see here

The 2018 Impact Factor for the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews is 7.755.
Top 10: most cited PaPaS reviews

NIHR funding news

We are delighted to announce that the core NIHR infrastructure funding for PaPaS has been confirmed from April 2020 to March 2025.
Chronic pain in children: time for change

We have received a great response to our overview in the Pain journal (Volume 160, Issue 8, p. 1698-1707) on the efficacy of pharmacological interventions for children with chronic pain and cancer-related pain. See how widely it has been disseminated and take a look at our round up webpage here.

Twitter: awareness months and campaigns 

Do you follow us on Twitter? We have recently helped to promote Migraine Awareness Week (#MAW2019) and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (#ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth) . Folllow us @CochranePaPaS and use our hashtag #painevidence to get involved.

New Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions

Available online, as an e-book and in print, and revised from cover to cover since the last major update in 2008. For more information about this updated publication please see here or read an Editorial from the Editors of the new edition here. We're very much looking forward to receiving our new copy in the PaPaS offices!
