Horsham District Council has just launched a Community Lottery to support local causes. When you buy a ticket, you can nominate the local cause that you would like to support. 50% of the ticket price goes straight to the cause of your choice.

Each ticket will consist of 6 numbers (between 0 and 9). There will be a draw every Saturday night when a 6 digit winning combination will be picked.

If you match all 6 numbers, you win the jackpot of £25,000!

Matching the first 5 or last 5 numbers (in order) wins you a prize of £2,000.
Matching the first 4 or last 4 numbers (in order) wins you a prize of £250.
Matching the first 3 or last 3 numbers (in order) wins you a prize of £25.
Matching the first 2 or last 2 numbers (in order) wins you 3 extra tickets.

The first draw will be on Saturday 28th September so you have plenty of time to get your tickets. Tickets cost £1 each and 50p of that goes straight to your chosen cause, which we hope will be Billingshurst Dramatic Society (BDS)!

Many of our set building materials, and part of our stage are looking in a bit of a sorry state at the moment, and we would like to be able to replace/mend them as necessary. As a well known supermarket says, "Every little helps!".

Please feel free to let your friends, relatives, work colleagues, neighbours and so on know about this scheme. You have a greater chance of winning a prize than you do with the National Lottery. And you can be sure where your money is going. Win, win!
