School Board hears report on impact of district's Triple-A philosophy
During the Sept. 23 School Board meeting, the board received a report on the district's Triple-A philosophy of providing students opportunities in academics, arts and athletics, and the positive impact these cocurriculars and other after-school activities have on student learning. The report was presented by Director of Secondary Education Michael Bolsoni; Eagan High School Assistant Principal of Athletics Sandra Setter-Larsen, and Eagan High School Principal Polly Reikowski, who spoke about the many arts and activities available to students at the middle school and high school levels.

Among other things at the Sept. 23 meeting the board:
  • Received a report on early voting options for the School Board election and levy referendum question;
  • Approved a 1.5 percent increase to the preliminary levy for payable 2020 property taxes, and
  • Approved collective bargaining agreements with district support staff, clerical and secretarial employees, and bus drivers, chaperones and crossing guards.
