Dear Parents,

As the school year is beginning, we have recognized the need to come alongside your child to continue to build worth, strength, purpose, and resiliency. Our goal is to help your child know his/her true identity and that it is rooted in God’s Word. But being a kiddo is tough! The children in our lives need our help being prepared for the social and emotional challenges of the world. Along with that, they need the confidence to walk in the freedom God has for them because they are valued, unique, and wonderfully made. Through our partnership with Emmaus Road Christian Counseling, we are providing another session - SHINE 2.0 - to continue with the fun and interactive, 8-week group focused on empowering young women to SHINE! It is voluntary and a signed Informed Consent Form must be on hand before your child may enter the group.

This 8-week (40 min.) process group will take place weekly during your child’s lunch break. Each group will have your child’s same gender/grade peers and will be facilitated by a counselor from Emmaus Road Christian Counseling. These facilitated groups will focus on three main topics: Worth, Strength, and Purpose. The purpose of the group is to have your child participate in experiential and interactive activities and have the opportunity to positively interact and connect with their peers.

The 5th-Grade girls group will meet in the Warehouse on:

Mondays, 12:20-1p beginning Wednesday, September 25th
