Teemaryhmän kuvaus:
Tässä teemaryhmässä keskitymme pohtimaan monitieteisen lapsuudentutkimuksen nykytilaa ja erityisesti pureudumme lapsinäkökulmaisen tutkimuksen lähtökohtiin ja sovelluksiin sekä metodeihin. Lapsinäkökulmaisen tutkimuksen tavoitteena on tuoda esille lasten ja nuorten (0-17v) kokemuksia ja näkemyksiä sekä heidän tuottamaansa tietoa, joka on osa koko yhteisön toimintaa. Millaisia ovat lapsuuden muuttuvat maisemat? Millaisia kohtaamisia lasten ja yhteisöjen parissa syntyy? Millaiseksi tieto/aineisto muotoutuu ja kuka määrittelee tutkimusprosessia, kun huomioidaan lasten ja yhteisöjen näkökulmat?
Teemaryhmä toivottaa tervetulleeksi lapsuuden monimuotoisuutta lähestyvät esitykset; kuten lasten ja nuorten kokemuksia, ajatuksia, tapoja toimia ja vaikuttaa erilaisissa sosiaalisissa, yhteiskunnallisissa ja historiallisissa konteksteissa. Toivomme myös esityksiä, jotka avaavat lasten, nuorten ja erilaisten yhteisöjen kanssa tehtävän tutkimuksen metodologisia ja eettisiä kysymyksiä sekä pohtivat lasten tutkimusosallisuutta. Esityksissä voidaan pysähtyä tutkimuksen eri vaiheisiin; eli ne voivat muun muassa esitellä tuloksia, kuvata prosesseja ja/tai olla eettis-metodologisia pohdintoja.

Description of the thematic group:
In this theme group, we concentrate on to think about the present state of the multidisciplinary childhood study. We focus to the starting points and applications and methods especially for the studies of child perspectives. The objective of the studies of child perspective is to bring out the experiences of the children and young (0-17 years) and the knowledge produced by them as a part of the operation of the whole community. What are the changing landscapes of the childhood like? What kind of encounters are among the children and communities created? How is the knowledge/research material formulated and who defines the research process when attention is paid to th e points of view of the children and communities?
The theme group wishes welcome the presentations which approach the multiformity of the childhood; such as the children's and young's experiences, thoughts, ways to operate and influence in different social, societal and historical contexts. We also hope for the presentations which open methodological and ethical questions of the research made with the children, young and different communities and reflect about the children's participation in the research. The presentations can consider different stages of the study; in other words, they can open results, can describe processes and/or can be ethical and methodological considerations.
