A new temporary exhibit on display now at the Old Ursuline Convent Museum, highlights St. John Paul II's 1987 visit to New Orleans. The room is dedicated to sharing the story of the Holy Father's historic visit through photos and objects including the chair commissioned for the altar at the outdoor Mass celebrated on the grounds of the University of New Orleans. Even now, 20 years later, the truth of what Patricia Sandoval witnessed first-hand inside a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Sacramento, California, is hard medicine to take, especially for those who refuse to accept it. Sandoval will share her witness with Notre Dame Seminary seminarians and the community at St Rita New Orleans on October 3.
