New fiction books to be released at our library on October 1st are "THE SHAPE OF NIGHT" written by Tess Gerritsen, "CILKA'S JOURNEY" written by Heather Morris, the author of "The Tattooist of Auschwitz" and Patricia Cornwell's latest book, "QUANTUM," which will also be available here in Audio Book form. Many more new materials are on order for the season when leaves begin to fall and days become crisper.

We had a fantastic kick-off to Discovery Club at the Baker Apple Orchard! A fun-filled afternoon of touring the grounds, picking & tasting apples, learning the history of Big Ben and S'MORES that were donated by Deanna Wheeler and family. Thank-you to Mr. Baker for your hospitality! We will visit again!
