"you can't be what you can't see"

The inspiration we didn't know we needed this week: the first visibly pregnant CEO to grace the cover of a business magazine.

Inc. Magazine featured Audrey Gelman, CEO and cofounder of The Wing, on the cover of its October issue, which includes Inc.'s annual round-up of 100 women building America's most innovative and ambitious businesses.

"You can't be what you can't see," Gelman said in an interview on the Today show. "My hope is that women see this and again feel the confidence to take greater professional risks while also not shelving their dreams of becoming a mother and starting a family."

In other news, next week we are kicking off a month-long campaign celebrating National Women's Small Business Month! You heard it here first. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for the latest news and updates on the campaign and how to get involved.
