REGION MOCK AUDITIONS TOMORROW!
Violins auditioning for all-region please swing by Mr. Porter's office tomorrow and pick up an enrichment pass. We will plan to have each violin student auditioning play of a small portion of their region audition during enrichment time (etudes only). If you are busy with tutorials please plan a time to come and play off both of your excerpts for Mr. Porter.

Cooler weather is just around the corner. Now is the time to order your official Tompkins orchestra hoodie! If you are interested please see the following link or pick up an order form on the back orchestra table. Orders are due Thursday, October 3rd to the orchestra office.

FUN FOOD FEST!
The next orchestra student social is Friday, September 27th. Bring your favorite dish to share and enter into our fun food fest contest. We hope to see everyone there!

FRESHMEN REPRESENTATIVES
The people have spoken and we are happy to announce our two newest orchestra officers for the 2019-2020 school year. Congratulations to Armaan Chadha and Rachael Suh on your recent election win!

TEACHING ASSISTANT WELCOME
Today, I'm happy to report was the first day of our temporary orchestra assistant Ms. Natalie Rochen! We are happy to welcome Ms. Rochen from the San Antonio area. She will be helping lead classes and grade assignment through the end of this semester.

CELLO MASTER CLASS OPPORTUNITY
The Paganini School is happy to offer a cello masterclass with Maki Kubota of the Houston Symphony on October 21st from 5:30-8:00pm. Please see flier link for details.

SODA CAN TABS
If you happen to collect aluminum can tabs we are looking to gather a nice collection for use in our uniform closet. Please feel free to send those in with your child.
