Plastic Pirates Ahoy! – Entries close soon

Last chance, don’t miss out! Keep the kids busy creating a recycled invention for the Young Re-inventor of the Year competition. Enter online by the 21 October 2019.  
 
The 2019 theme is Plastic Pirates Ahoy! Collect plastic loot and re-invent it into something to be treasured. Plunder the bins of your home or school for plastic and get creative to cut waste!
 
Share $3,000 in sustainability prizes including worm farms, compost bins, upcycling workshops and sustainability books.
 
You will receive a $50 voucher for the City of Armadale Drop'n'Shop when you sign up. Entries close on 21 October and are accepted from schools, individuals or community groups. Start your entry and find out more here.

Upcycling t-shirts with macramé

At this eco-friendly creative session, participants will learn sustainable ways to create macramé, the art of knotting string in patterns to make decorative articles.
