Quick update on membership info and elections.
- Please save the date for elections on Wednesday, November 13 at 6pm. It is vital to show up and vote for board members that will fight for reasonable STR regulations when this issue is revisited by our city officials.
- To be eligible to vote you must be a member in good standing for more than 30 days. If you have not joined, please do so by October 10th. Click here to join. If you joined online you can verify by searching your email for the receipt. The receipt would have been emailed from missionbeach.towncouncil@gmail.com with the subject "Thank you for your order!".
- You must be present to vote! There is no proxy or absentee voting.
- If you are interested in becoming more involved with MBTC and possibly joining the board, please let us know! Nominations will be finalized by October meeting. You must be a member for 90 days to be eligible. This means you had to join prior to August 15th. Area Rep is a great position to start! Click here to view positions.

- We've added a GOOD NEIGHBOR tab to the website in an effort to help promote responsible STR management and guest behavior. Please feel free to use in your Good Neighbor policy provided to your guests. Feedback is always appreciated!

SAVE MISSION BEACH is a local organization that gives a voice to residents, property owners, small businesses and vacation rental managers who believe that responsibly run vacation rentals are a vital part of Mission Beach. We support reasonable regulations that protect STR rights and enforce good neighbor policies.
We encourage stakeholders to be vocal about their support of short-term rentals. Join our local Town Council, follow and engage with supporters on social media, Nextdoor.com, etc. and spread the word to neighbors and friends!
