A WORD FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hi Rams Fans,

Well season 2019 is all done now in what was a good year for the club as we established ourselves as a Div 1 club. While some on the outside may look at the on field results and question the word "good", everyone who has been involved this year know exactly where we are heading and it is not going to take very long to turn things around. We again have had a huge supporter base at every game this year and have outnumbered the opposition on many occasions, well done to you all.
All teams were very competitive over the year and only a little more experience and poise would have seen many more wins come to all teams. Well done to Crossy and the Mini Colts for making the finals and a couple things go right on semi final day would have seen them progress further but nevertheless a great experience for the team and all will benefit from it.
This year saw the first of an open women's competition in the Hills Football League and our team made huge progress in this and made the grand final, only to just fall short of a very polished Uradla side. Darren and all involved have taken the team to another level as their skills and team work continually improve and no doubt success is not far away for them.
To all the coaches from Modified through to A's, you have done a great job in teaching the game while representing the club in good and positive manner. The club can't thank you and all your support staff enough for what you have done over the year.
Congratulations to all trophy winners for the season as your efforts cannot be overlooked for what you have achieved. Off the field we continue to grow and we are very fortunate to have a great volunteer base who continues to help out where needed. Frank and Megan have again been magnificent in keeping the Bar and canteen / kitchen well stocked and again a big thanks to those you have supported in these areas.
As I said the club is in a great position and as we keep moving forward we need your continued support to make things better. The AGM is on October 15 and all positions are up for re-election so please come along, have your say and stick your hand up to help out where you can.
Again, thank you everybody for your support for the club and in helping make it a "great place to be".

Cheers,
Mark
