National Hate Crime Awareness Week 12th – 19th October
Safer Cornwall will be supporting National Hate Crime Awareness week from 12 – 19 October with a host of activities across Cornwall.
Working closely with Devon and Cornwall’s Diverse Communities Team they will be raising awareness across the week looking to #SpreadLoveNotHate and #StandTogetherAgainstHate.
National Hate Crime Awareness Week takes place in October every year and is an opportunity to raise awareness of what hate crime is, and stand by those affected by it.

Black History Month:
Black History Art Exhibition - 24th - 28th October at the Fish Factory, Penryn. The work on display includes painting, installation, video art, photography and text. For more information click HERE
Black History Month at the University of Exeter
Black History month is a key campaign within the University's annual calendar of events. This year, we are looking at a variety of engagement oppotunities, events and sessions to allow all members of our community to learn about the origins of Black History Month and the history of Black People in the UK to understand how all of us can use our privilege to drive change and further inclusion.
