Generations Fest is a space for people of all ages to share skills and stories to celebrate and strengthen our ancestral wisdom. Through this gathering of workshops, activities, and cultural offerings, we hope to grow inter-generational intimacy by centering leadership of elders and young people, providing opportunities to connect with each other, and increasing our skills and knowledge to have the relationships we want

Natural Helpers Training

The training provides an overview of systems of oppression with a deep focus on gender-based violence and community-based responses. 
Drop-in for any of the workshops or attend the whole two days to be a Natural Helper.

Unlearning Caste Supremacy: Seattle Workshop
Co hosted by API ChayaEquality Labs, UW South Asia Center

The workshop will introduce participants to the history of caste in the diaspora, train folks in identifying structures of caste privilege, and create collaborative co-learning spaces where communities can talk across caste and faith divides to start addressing caste oppression.

8 am-12:30 pm (high need)
12 pm-3:30 pm
3 pm-6 pm

Tasks include helping with set-up, registration, greeters, workshop support, access team, self care team, food team, AV support, team leads, performer/facilitator support, vendor support, clean-up and so on.
