Sharing CDSS tribal stakeholder opportunities, useful resources and events.
The Tribal Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting is scheduled for Friday, November 15, 2019. The meeting is scheduled for 9 am – 12 pm and work group meetings will be held
1-4 pm.
The CDSS Office of Tribal Affairs (OTA) is soliciting your feedback for the creation of the meeting agenda. If you have topics for an agenda request, please submit these issues, along with a brief description, to the CDSS Tribal Affairs mailbox at TribalAffairs@dss.ca.gov. Your requests will be reviewed by the CDSS and presented to the TAC Chair and Vice Chair who are responsible for approving agenda items.
Additionally, we are now calling for NOMINATIONS for TAC Tribal seats. These positions will be regionally dispersed and correspond to the North, Central and Southern regions. Voting will take place at the November 15th TAC meeting. All members will be appointed to two-year terms. If you are interested, please submit a letter from your Tribe nominating you to serve to TribalAffairs@dss.ca.gov by November 10th.
