A few tips for October

The heating is on, it's cold and wet outside, and finally the pub is busy again. It's actually quite hard to layer up for the day as the afternoon can still be warm, so we've put together a few tips for you, to see you through to November.
Tip 1

Go 'Straight to Skin' with an Extra Fine Merino Wool Jumper

Unlike the coarser wools of the past, our extra fine merino is skin-friendly and the layer of choice for both winter sports enthusiasts and champion cyclists. Merino wool is a reactive natural fibre which allows moisture to wick away, but it also crimps and expands with changes in body temperature to create insulated pockets of air when required. Thus keeping you cool and dry whether it's warm or cold.

Tip 2

When its mild, layer up with a Pure Cotton Sweater

Cotton is a great choice for when its 12-18 degrees, or if you are layering a raincoat on top of your knits. Breathable, cool to touch and easy to wash they are perfect for short walks, casual evenings out or when you want to relax in comfort.
