At the PTO Meeting on October 8th, the members in attendance discussed the following:

• The November PTO meeting was changed to 11/19/19 to accommodate for STEM Night, which will be on 11/12/19. More details for that event will follow from the school.

• A survey has been created for feedback on the Color Run. We discussed some changes for next year but would like your input as well. Please go to  www.surveymonkey.com/r/22RYBKS.

• We discussed the upcoming Knickerbockers Photography Fundraiser. Flyers with details on how to purchase them and when and where pictures will be taken and viewed will be given separately.

• The Reading for Education Booklet raffle will be drawn on Friday, October 11th after lunch to see who will get to take home the inflatable chair. Only fully completed booklets will be eligible.

• What was previously called the “4th & 5th grade Honor Roll Ice Cream Party” is now going to be called the “TOP SHOTS Ice Cream Party.” To be eligible, you must be in 4th or 5th grade, achieve all A’s and/or B’s academically and no “N” or lower on the citizenship part of your report card. Parents, please make sure to share the electronic report cards with the students so they know if they are eligible.

• Trunk-or-Treat will be here soon. Anyone interested in donating candy, can bring it o the school by students or leave it in the office.

• The Election Day Bake Sale is on Tuesday, November 5th from 6 AM - 6 PM. If you would like to donate any baked items (cookies, cakes, etc.), homemade canned goods, or handmade items (knitted, crocheted, etc), please bring them to the office any time before Tuesday 11/5 or to us at the tent that day. We will also need volunteers to run the sale and will send out more details soon.
