Young Americans for Liberty
Friend, liberty is winning.

The YAL pipeline is working.

Your investments are changing students' lives and creating incredible results.

How do I know?

YAL just trained 370 activists in Detroit this weekend. That's a total of 2,030 activists trained by YAL in 2019... AND secured two more Operation Win at the Door victories, bringing our total to 41 wins!

In a commanding victory, Melissa Lackey Oremus marks win number 40 for Operation Win at the Door and win number 3 in South Carolina this year. There were 3 special elections for state house in 2019, and YAL-endorsed candidates won all of them!

In total, our dedicated activists knocked on 51,289 doors in South Carolina this year. In one year's time, we've garnered 5 members to YAL's liberty legislator coalition in South Carolina. This team of champions will change the conversation in South Carolina.

YAL activist Britton Wolf served as campaign manager for Stewart Jones in South Carolina earlier this year. After a commanding win for Stewart, YAL hired Britton to lead our deployments for Patrick Haddon and Melissa Oremus. The YAL pipeline is not only working, it's firing on all cylinders!

YAL's victory in Georgia was hard fought and hard won. In 2018, we went toe to toe with the Georgia Establishment when we endorsed Matt Gurtler. The Lt. Governor, the Speaker of the House, and every committee chairman came to bat for his opponent, working tirelessly to slander him in his hometown, but YAL still prevailed.

This year, we faced a similar battle between liberty lovers and the Establishment when we chose to endorse Philip Singleton in House District 71's Special Election. And YAL took plenty of heat on this campaign for standing on principle!

Our opponent was the daughter of the long time Congressman representing the district. Georgia's sitting US Senator, all of House Leadership, and former Presidential contender Herman Cain endorsed her.

We were outraised, outspent, outendorsed, but NOT outworked.

Singleton's opponent doctored an audio clip of one of our door knockers to slime Philip, the wife of a losing candidate filed a blatantly false ethics claim against us, and our door knockers have faced intimidation by the opponent's supporters.

But in the face of adversity, Philip walked away with a HUGE win thanks to our activists!

While our door knockers were pounding the pavement in South Carolina and Georgia, in Michigan, YALCON Detroit was in full swing.

By hearing keynote speakers like Virginia Delegate Nick Freitas, Comedian Lou Perez, FOX Nation Host Kat Timpf, Senator Rand Paul, and Congressman Justin Amash, our activists received the best of the best grassroots recruitment education.

YALCON trainings cover a variety of topics including:

1. Media and messaging strategies
2. The real nature of politics
3. How to run a winning campaign
4. Campus recruitment tactics

Each training ensures that every activist leaves YALCON prepared to dominate on campus and in campaigns.

This year, we held five three-day YALCON trainings across the country, educating 2,030 activists on how to take direct action on campus and in campaigns to MAKE LIBERTY WIN!

Just three weeks ago we trained 483 activists in Austin...

In July, we trained 311 activists in Silicon Valley...

In June, we trained 447 activists in Memphis...

...and in April, we trained 419 activists in Philadelphia!

Our students from across the country are more prepared to fight for liberty now than they ever before... and it's paying off.

Remember, at every YALCON:

1. Activists learn the core philosophies of individual liberty and our Constitution.
2. Activists are trained by top experts on the tactics and skills needed to message and advance the principles of liberty.
3. Activists build an extensive network of hundreds of like-minded activists that they can partner with on projects and campus activism events.
4. Activists are introduced to YAL's vast partner list of organizations that offer resources, internships, and employment opportunities on the spot.
5. All attendees leave YALCON with a plan of action they've compiled at the event and take immediate steps to implement their plan on campus.

YAL's incredible accomplishments this weekend were only made possible by your support. By investing in our students, you are changing their lives and the direction of this country. Because of you, we can and will continue to FIGHT for liberty stronger than ever before.

Onward and upward!
