Please join me in Croatia, March 25 - April 2, 2020
Deposits are due Oct 25th

Croatia, situated across the Adriatic Sea from Italy, has a long and turbulent history. Although it's been ruled by a fascinating procession of outsiders, (Romans, Illyrians, Slavs) Croatia has been a separate culture for hundred of years. With its gorgeous coastline, ancient walled cities and towns, and breathtaking natural sites, there's a huge variety of places to see and photograph.

Our itinerary will begin in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, whose history goes back to Roman times.  It's a city of striking architecture and many museums, cobbled streets and hidden corners.  From Zagreb, we'll continue to the Plivice Lakes National Park, famous for its sixteen lakes interconnected by a series of waterfalls - spectacular!  We'll then visit Zadar, one of the most beautiful old Dalmatian cities, Trogir, an historic stone city, and Split, with its most famous monument, the Diocletian Palace.

We will also stop in Mostar, once an Ottoman frontier town, and end our journey in Dubrovnik,  the lovely "Pearl of the Adriatic," -  more recently famous as the fictional city of "King's Landing."

The workshop is open to all levels and all cameras (including Smartphones). Non photographers are also welcome.
