Nearly half of all SMEs require external assistance when it comes to recruitment matters.

A new survey of small businesses has asked which areas of enterprise are the biggest obstacles. HR and hiring make it into the top five challenges for Britain's SMEs.

Why?

Because the cost risks of making a bad hire mean many firms see recruitment as a matter 'best left to the professionals'. It places our work alongside specialist industries like accountancy and law in terms of the esteem they are held in by other professions.
