Woman Wanted for Child Abandonment with Intent to Return

The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office and Crime Stoppers need the public’s assistance in providing any information regarding the location of Tara Elizabeth Piccione (DOB 02/15/1988). Piccione has been charged with two counts of child abandonment with intent to return, a state jail felony, after she left two children, ages 3 and 6, unattended at Motel 6 on Oct. 9. While unattended, the children started the bedding on fire while playing with a lighter. At the time of the fire, approximately 30 rooms were being occupied, displacing numerous people.
