Abraham Lincoln said, “you cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.”
Evading responsibility has become the GOP calling card.
Harris County Commissioners Steve Radack and Jack Cagle are prime examples of this do-nothing, failed leadership that puts partisanship over responsibility. Make no mistake, their actions this week have put the lives of Harris County residents at greater risk.
The Harris County Commissioners Court could have addressed urgent concerns and better provided the services communities need during times of economic downturn or natural disaster. Instead, Radack and Cagle chose dereliction over duty and didn’t show up for work.
