Brothers Stephen Szuber ('77, left) and Rick Szuber ('84, right) both shared their experiences in different ways. Stephen spoke to students about his experience as a NAFTA Regional Lead at FIAT Chrysler during the Alumni Speaker Series, Taste of Success. Read about his talk here.
Rick, who is the Equipment Manager for the Detroit Redwings, did a SnapChat Takeover during the Kraft Hockeyville event in Calumet and provided a unique behind-the-scenes perspective. Watch his takeover here.

Dr. Jeffrey Pettibone Welcomed as New Psychology Professor
Finlandia University is pleased to welcome Dr. Jeffrey Pettibone as Assistant Professor of Psychology. Pettibone is joining FinnU after spending time as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California.

Lion Around with Lion Pride President Blue Kenwood
Host Anastazia Hartman is joined by Blue Kenwood, a junior Art and Design student focused on Intermedia, who is also a Resident Assistant here at FinnU, to talk about a group on campus called Lion Pride.

Finlandia University is excited to welcome back Dana Pakulski, a 2018 alum, who is one of two Assistant Librarians at Maki Library. Pakulski received her Bachelor’s degree in English and plans to earn her Master’s degree in Library Services and Sciences.

Katya Gordon of Sea Change Expeditions will be the featured author for the 2019 Finlandia University Campus Read which will take place on Oct. 22.

The Finlandia University men's soccer team (3-10-1) put a scare to Lawrence (8-4-1) in a 2-1 loss, Tuesday night at the Banta Bowl.

Senior Harlie Caster and freshman Braedyn Hurd had double-digits in digs as the Finlandia University volleyball team (0-20) lost 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-16) to Northland (7-14), Tuesday night at the Paavo Nurmi Center.
Zach Wichman ACAA DPOW 19
Junior Zach Wichman has been named the American Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) Defensive Player of the Week for men's soccer. Members of the ACAA are Finlandia, Pine Manor, Pratt, UC Santa Cruz, UW-Whitewater and Valley Forge.
L'Esperance WSOC ACAA 6 19
Senior Kirsten L'Esperance has been named the American Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) Offensive Player of the Week for women's soccer. Members of the ACAA are Finlandia, Mills, Mount Mary, Pine Manor, Pratt, UC Santa Cruz and Valley Forge.
