Shakopee CAPS Students Receive Valuable Feedback on Resumes

Students in the Shakopee CAPS (Center for Advanced Professional Studies) program received resume feedback from local professionals at an event last week. They met professionals from a vast variety of fields and also had the opportunity to ask questions about their resumes. The students will use their resumes to apply for internships during the second half of the year in the CAPS program. Click here to visit our website to learn more about our CAPS program.

Our Custodians are the Best!

The district celebrated custodians for School Custodian Appreciation Day on October 1. "Our custodial group is the hidden backbone to our schools," said Ed Zeimet, Buildings and Grounds Manager. "I'd like to thank each and every one of them for all they do to keep our buildings and learning environments safe and clean."

Sabers Celebrate Homecoming!

Homecoming week is always an exciting time of the school year. Students throughout the district showcased their spirit during the week on days designated to wear Hawaiian, pink and comfy attire. One of the biggest highlights was the annual pep fest at Shakopee High School. Later that night, Sabers played Stillwater in the Homecoming football game and walked away with a victory. Go SABERS!
