A Quartet of The Countess of Wessex’s String Orchestra will be performing at the next Ongar Music Club 'Soundbites!' lunchtime concert on Tuesday, October 29 (1.30pm).

The Countess of Wessex’s String Orchestra is based at the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich and plays for a wide variety of engagements including investitures, royal ceremonies and state banquets.

The concert will be held in The Ballroom at the Budworth Hall, High Street, Ongar, and will be followed by a special Afternoon Tea.

No admittance to the hall before 1pm.

Tickets, priced £10 each (Ongar Music Club members £8), can be purchased from the Budworth Hall on weekdays 9.30am -1pm or reserved by emailing secretary@ongarmusicclub.org.uk.

The Quartet will be playing by kind permission of Major General B.J. Bathurst CBE, the Major General Commanding the Household Division.

There will be a raffle with all funds raised at the concert going to ABF, The Soldiers’ Charity.
