Nat Parker Joins Elevate Capital as Entrepreneur-in-Residence

Nat Parker, a successful entrepreneur and CEO who ran local urban mobility startup GlobeSherpa, then moovel North America after GlobeSherpa’s acquisition by Daimler AG, has joined the Elevate Capital team as our new Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR).
“Nat is an incredible entrepreneur who combines a high level of passion and drive with the ability to learn quickly and motivate teams around difficult tasks,” said Nitin Rai, Founder and Managing Director of Elevate Capital. “As EIR, Nat will serve as a mentor and coach to other entrepreneurs in the Elevate Capital portfolio.”

Brandon Ross Joins Elevate Capital as Senior Associate-Analyst

We’re excited to welcome Brandon Ross to the Elevate Capital investment team as our new Senior Associate-Analyst. Prior to Elevate Capital, Brandon worked as a Senior Associate with the Meketa Investment Group in 2019 as part of the merger with Pension Consulting Alliance (PCA).
At Elevate Capital, Brandon will be responsible for portfolio and investment level performance measurement and analytics, investment manager due diligence, working with clients to establish their investment beliefs and investment policies, and assisting with various client and internal projects.
Brandon received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a focus on Race and Politics from Reed College.

Portfolio Company Spotlight: Hemex Health Wins 2019 CPI Grant
Congratulations to Hemex Health for receiving one of the West Consortium for Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP) seven grants in the 2019 Catalyzing Pediatric Innovation (CPI) competition.
Hemex Health’s Hb Variant test was awarded a $45K Catalyzing Pediatric Innovation (CPI) grant last month. Hemex Health demonstrated their technologies at the CTIP Symposium on September 19 at the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.
In the photo below, Dr. Umut Gurkan from Case Western Reserve University, and inventor of the Hb Variant technology, is training lab technicians on the Hb Variant Test in Nigeria.
