Good Morning!

Have you found your child taking on your behaviors? We’re talking about the way you talk, drive, interact with others, etc.? And have you heard the saying, “Do what I say not what I do?” Well, kids are much more apt to “do what we do, NOT what we say.” It’s extremely common for kids to adopt harmless behaviors from their parents. However, there are also many times when kids adopt other traits that parents may not recognize as being potentially negative to their well-being.

We’re talking about how and how much we stare at screens.

One of the biggest misconceptions of the digital age is that teens and tweens are the only groups finding themselves becoming addicted to screens. Adults, specifically parents (in the context of this week’s blog), can also find it difficult to put their mobile device down or stop binge watching the latest Netflix series.

In this week’s blog,
“Being the Best Role Model: How a Parent’s Screen Addiction Can Affect Their Child’s Well-Being,” we will go over this very serious topic and statistics that will show just how detrimental a parent’s screen addiction can be to their children.
