Following the sad news of the recent passing of Terry Nichols, we can now advise that the funeral is taking place at Rainsbrook Crematorium in the Avon Room on Tuesday 22nd October at 11:00am.

On the 27th October I am running the Rugby 1/2 Marathon. I am running with Team Holt to raise money for the Stem Cell Register. I’m hoping to run under 2 hours - my best time 2 years ago was 2 hr 2 minutes. Only 2 minutes but that means running faster for 2 hours!

Coffee Morning
Thursday 24th October, 9.30am @ New Life

We will be hosting a monthly coffee morning at church on a Thursday Morning from 9.30am until 11.30am. All are welcome to join us. The first date will be Thursday 24th October and will take place in the front meeting room (Meeting Room 1).

Sunday 27th October - Lunch at Adrian & Corinne Scotland's House

This new group will take place each month for those aged between 18-30. Hosted by Adrian, Corinne, Jeremy and Louise, it is a chance for this age group to meet together and have some fun and fellowship. Contact Corinne for more info - corinne525@hotmail.com

Baby Shower
Sunday 27th October 3.30pm @ New Life Church

This is a warm invite for the women (including teenagers) to gather on Sunday the 27th October at 3.30pm -4.30pm at church in the Main Hall to pray for Carla and the Muldoon family as they prepare for the imminent arrival of baby Muldoon.

We do hope as many people as possible can make this event. Cakes and drinks will be provided so please sign up to indicate your attendance and dietary needs for catering purposes. We will be having a collection of money to give to the family as a gift. Feel free to give these donations in advance to either Hannah Scotland or Betty Scotland.

Light Party
Thursday 31st Oct, 6pm @ New Life Church

New Life is running 2 light parties for different age groups - one for ages 0-4 and one for ages 5-11.

Please join us for an out of this world alternative to Halloween. The Bible says: ‘The heavens declare the glory of God and the sky above proclaims His handiwork.’ Psalm 19:1 WOW! What an amazing God and even more amazing is how much He loves you!

Women's Breakfast
Saturday 2nd November, 8.30am @ New Life Church

We will be having a women’s breakfast (teenagers welcome) on the 2nd November at church in the Main Hall 8.30-10am. It would be great to see as many people as possible.

Please sign up to the event and indicate any dietary requirements. Donations will be taken on the day.

4Front Theatre - Beyond Bars
Sunday 13th October 6.30pm @ Bilton Evangelical Church

As part of Prisons Week, in partnership with 4Front Theatre, Rugby Revive Churches presents Beyond Bars, featuring a one hour performance that is being presented in prisons.

Featuring music, spoken word and rap, two prison stories, one ancient and one modern, interwined in a new play about forgiveness, hope and what it means to be free.

Rugby foodbank are looking for new warehouse facilities approximately 2500+ sq ft. If you can help in their search, please contact info@rugby.foodbank.org.uk.
