Welcome to the Point Park CMI newsletter
The Center for Media Innovation at Point Park University serves as a laboratory for the present and future of journalistic storytelling. With that in mind, we want to let you know about what we’re doing at the Center, about upcoming events and about issues affecting journalism.
We hope to see you at a future event, like the Media Innovators Speakers Series, Dis/Ability Symposium, or High School Media Day, details about which are all below. Maybe you've visited us at 305 Wood Street for the recent Right-To-Know Law workshop or Doris O'Donnell Innovations in Investigative Journalism Fellowship announcement, but if you missed them, we have recapped them below too.
If you have ideas for what you would like us to share in a future monthly newsletter, let us know! If we have learned anything about the future of journalism so far, it's that we all have to collaborate (like with the Bridge Pittsburgh Media Partnership, detailed below). We hope you'll read, participate and continue to be a part of our collaborations moving forward together as #MediaPioneers.
