This Week's Sermon

Jim will continue our series on Luke 1 and 2 with a sermon on Luke 1:5-25. We invite you to read ahead as a way to prepare for Sunday's service.

(Listen to sermons our website or subscribe on iTunes. Please note: we are aware that some of our sermon recordings are cutting in and out. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue!)

Happening This Week

  • Prayer on Wednesday: All are welcome to join us for tomorrow at 6:30am at the City Church office. We meet to pray on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month; on fifth Wednesdays we take a prayer walk around the neighborhood.
  • Sunday Formation—Jesus and Our Doubt: Sunday Formation continues this week. This semester, we are going to consider some of the major questions that drive doubt and ask how Jesus meets us in the midst of them. Through November, we'll meet on second and fourth Sundays from 5:30 to 6:30 in room 303. Childcare is provided. Children ages 0 to 3 will be in room 101; children ages 4 and up will attend City Kids: Grow. Pizza will be provided for the kids. Please RSVP (if you haven't already) so we can plan for materials and childcare.
  • City Kids: Grow! City Kids is a weekly time of fellowship, formation, and fun for kids ages 4 and up. On second and fourth Sundays we have City Kids: Grow, a time for kids to share a meal and take part in an age-appropriate Bible lesson. Parents, please escort your kids up to the third floor immediately after the service on Sunday; pick-up is at 6:30pm. For more about City Kids and our monthly schedule, please visit our website.
