We're excited to introduce our new Community Profiles! These factsheets capture valuable information for each city, village and township as well as the County overall! Health District staff prepared them as a way to provide population and health equity information in addition to information on our public health services.
The profiles can be useful to local leadership as well as the general public. Data can be used on grant applications or to inform decisions. Data can also be shared with local partners and the public to better understand our community.

Flu season is approaching! So "Git up and Get Vaccinated!" You should get a flu vaccine before flu viruses begin to spread in your community. It takes about two weeks after vaccination for antibodies to develop in the body and provide protection against the flu. Make plans to get vaccinated early in fall, before flu season begins.

Vaping Health Alert As of Sept. 20, 2019, the Ohio Department of Health is requiring health care providers or any individual having knowledge to report all suspected cases of severe pulmonary disease with a history of vaping in the past 90 days, to the Health District by the end of the next business day. Medical Reserve Corps Volunteers Needed The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) was founded by the federal government shortly after 9/11 to bring together volunteers who are committed to improving the health, safety, and resiliency of their communities.
