REACH Funding Must Be Protected!!!!

Earlier this year there was a movement by multiple organizations asking the House and the Senate for adequate funding for the REACH program in Fiscal Year 2020. Almost 200 organizations signed on to a letter requesting this funding.  

Organizations did visits to Capitol Hill and submitted formal appropriations requests for REACH funding. 

Our efforts were successful in the House and they included $71.95M in funding for the REACH program. 

However, in the Senate we were not successful.  REACH was actually zeroed out of the Senate’s FY 2020 budget.  

This letter expresses our concern to the Senate about the proposed elimination of the REACH program and asks the Senate to match the House number of $71.95 million in funding for the REACH program.

Let Senators know that REACH funding is critical and that they must protect it by adding your organization to this sign on letter. The deadline is Friday, October 11, 2019 to sign on.
