This Week's Program:

Brigid Morrissey, The Root Co-Working Space

The Root provides a grounded co-work space to help businesses flourish by connecting unconnected people in a versatile environment. Their vision is to show the business world what love looks like. They strive to successfully serve, connect, and empower professionals throughout our community, allowing for innovation and discovery in a serene, creative environment.
New Albany Rotarians Support #IamPublicArt Event

Thanks to our Rotarians who came out this past weekend to assist with The Carnegie Center for Art and History's annual #IamPublicArt event.  This free event takes place before the annual Harvest Homecoming Parade. #IamPublicArt is a one-day-only pop-up art event, featuring live artist demonstrations, hands-on art-making, face painting, music activities, and more for all ages.  This year's event was sponsored by The Rotary Club of New Albany via the proceeds from a District Grant.
FC Student Owen Offutt's RYE Experience

Thanks to the Offutt family for providing updates during Floyd Central student Owen Offutt's year in Italy with Rotary Youth Exchange.  A recent trip to Rome included a student conference with other RYE participants from around the globe.  Great to see!
Final Week for Rotary Youth Exchange 2020/21 Applications.

Just in the last several years our club has sponsored local students as they spent a year abroad studying in Germany, Austria and Japan!  The October 12th deadline for interested students to apply for the 2020/21 school year is fast approaching.  Please share this great program with anyone you know who would have an interest in studying abroad.  You can learn more about Rotary Youth Exchange and important program information here.
Have something that you want your fellow Rotarians to know about?  Just reply to this email with anything that you would like to include in the bulletin.
