Janet B. Royster Scholarship Application Deadline Approaching
The deadline to apply is October 31. Scholarships provide assistance towards earning a degree or other professional certification and development. The scholarship can be applied to the cost of tuition, fees, books, or registration fees. The maximum award amount per academic year is $1,000.

Campus Dumpster Dive - October 16, 2019
Join us for a Dumpster Dive* on Wednesday, October 16, 2019! This audit will consist of sorting a sample of the waste-to-landfill dumpster used at a campus building to determine what could be recovered through recycling and composting. The event will take place at NC State Waste Reduction & Recycling, 630 Motor Pool, Raleigh, NC. **Note that no diving in dumpsters will take place.**

Art's Work in the Age of Biotechnology Symposium - October 18, 2019
On October 18, the Gregg Museum will host a morning session of a symposium discussing "Art’s Work in the Age of Biotechnology" exhibition. 8:30am-Noon. Artists, humanists, and social/natural scientists will discuss the exhibits based on biotechnology/genetics. Registration required.

3rd Annual Pickin' in the Pines - October 19, 2019
Pickin' in the Pines is a Bluegrass and BBQ benefit concert that benefits youth in need by providing camp scholarships to attend camp at Millstone 4-H Camp. Cost includes a BBQ dinner, beer/wine, and musical entertainment by Long Gone Bluegrass, Chatham Rabbits, and the Grascals.
