On Sunday Nov. 3  we will be celebrating our Celtic Heritage. Time to put your Irish/Scottish on!
Men, wear your kilts. Women, if you have a family tartan, please bring it so we can display it, unless you would prefer to wear it.

There will be a Congregational Meeting to elect officers for 2020 on Sunday, October 20. Please plan to stay for this brief meeting after the service.

The next Sew-in is on October 14. We will once again be making "Hugme" dolls and will need help from non-sewers for cutting and stuffing. The dolls will go to the Emergency Room at Cox Branson.

As always, keep those at Tablerock Village: Lyleann Frank and Virginia Fogerson in your prayers for their continued well-being. They also appreciate hearing from their church friends. Also keep Blanche Masek, who is on hospice care, in your prayers as well.

Don't forget that Time & Talent/Loaf & Ladle is coming up on Stewardship Sunday, November 10, after worship.
We hope you are painting, sewing, woodworking, crafting, and other items you can create for auction. What gifts of time do you have to offer? Teaching a craft such as knitting, crocheting, painting, wood-turning, basket-making, wood carving, sewing? Housecleaning, yardwork, indoor/outdoor painting, music lessons? How about attempting a fancy baked item, or a not-so-fancy baked item in a fancy dish for the Live Auction? Get together with your friends and create a themed basket, or craft together and bake together. Stewardship and Fellowship go hand in hand!
    Hideaway's will be held from 10:00 – 12:00 on Saturday, November 9th.
Soup and Scripture with Pastor Dixie
Pastor Dixie will be leading an Advent study group on Sundays after church during December. The first one will be on Sunday, December 3 and the final one on the 22nd. No book will need to be purchased!

Thanksgiving Dinner
Susie Patrick has kindly offered to take on the job of coordinating the Thanksgiving Dinner, but she could use some help. Please contact her if you can help with this vital ministry.
No Tower this week, so here's some info that would have appeared there.
