22 hearty Spinner Souls took advantage of a gorgeous Autumn evening and headed southwest into the Illinois flat lands. The group stuck together fairly well until we were on Yale Bridge Rd. and then there were several "splits" and even more "splits" @ Boswell & Forest Preserve Rd. A couple "Good Samaritan" Spinners helped a cyclist return safely home after a couple tubes bit the dust--this action epitomizes the spirit of our cycling group.
Here is a photo from "Tandem Sue" of the Spinner Peloton on Yale Bridge Rd--impressive!
All Rides will be starting from the parking lot behind the Beloit Bicycle Company at:

This start time will continue at 5pm until we "FALL BACK" which will be on Sat/Sun Nov 2nd/3rd after which the Stateline Spinner Tuesday Cycling Season will come to an end. Here is a flier on an upcoming Rock Trail Coalition event with Peter Diotte that will be most interesting...

We completed our tour across Perú. The total tour was 19 days from the United States. There were 11 cycling days and several non cycling days at the start and finish and a two day visit to Machu Picchu in the middle of the tour.
Our weather was perfect and we had one rainy day in the low jungle which helped keep the temperature a comfortable 80 degrees ...28 C. Our coldest night was 25 degrees...-5 C when we needed to sleep at a mountain shelter at 14,000 feet ...4,700 meters.
There is a good selections of photos on the PAC Tour website https://pactour.com/ now on the homepage in the lower left hand corner. Click on Terry Lentz blog photos.
I will send you more photos next week after I start traveling on the amazon river on boat to Iquitos to visit the schools there.
