Exeter Phoenix - 48hr Film Challenge

For the 13th year running Two Short Nights invites filmmakers to take part in this inspiring challenge. No previous film experience needed, just a good imagination and a camera.

The 48 Hour Film Challenge will launch on Friday 1 November at 6pm at Exeter Phoenix. At least one member of the team will need to be present at the launch to receive the challenge brief. You will be emailed further instructions once registration has closed.

Films made within the 48 hours will have the chance to be screened on Friday 29 November at Two Short Nights Festival 2019 and are eligible for the 48 Hour Film Award.

Registration is now open and teams must apply by Wed 30 October.

Filmmakers Lab (Peer-to-Peer Session)
Monday 14th October 7pm-8.30pm Kaleider Studios, 45 Preston Street, Exeter, EX1 1DF
'October’s Peer-to-Peer session will showcase Robin Mudge’s (BBC, Chanel 4, Digital Slate) pioneering and film centred work in VR. Telling stories using 360-degree spherical video poses some interesting problems. What Robin wants to share with us is a relatively low cost way of creating content that delivers the best of VR & allows the use of our established narrative storytelling techniques.'

More info on the Filmmakers Lab website.
