Looking for something to do with the children over half-term? Find out what's on near you in our events calendar. Join in with Oxford Science & Ideas Festival activities at Oxford County. We suggest ebooks to celebrate Black History Month and find out about an exceptional opportunity to see precious artefacts from the Bodleian Library and Oxfordshire History Centre, all up close and personal in a library near you! The Oxford Science & Ideas Festival
This 'accessible, thought-provoking and interactive science and ideas festival' takes place in venues across Oxford and includes our own Oxfordshire County Library. Events include rhyme times, a special language cafe, story times, coding and Science-based artist, Dr Lizzie Burns shares her drawings inspired by biology under the microscope
Talking Maps 
Talking Maps at Bicester Library

This great drop-in activity is coming to Bicester Library on Thursday 31st October, tying in with the Talking Maps exhibition at the Bodleian.

Meet the experts from the Bodleian Library and the Oxfordshire History Centre for a  series of roadshows in our libraries

See historical maps and some real curiosities! Details of all events here.
Henley Library is up next with their roadshow on 14th November, with Didcot Library on 12th December.
