Dear <<First Name>>,

Coonawarra, the aboriginal name for honeysuckle, is justly famous for its ‘terra rossa’, the vivid red soils of this relatively small cigar-shaped piece of land in South Australia bordering Victoria. This rich earth has produced some of Australia’s most notable Cabernet Sauvignons over a considerable period. Much of this land was bought and developed by a Scotsman, John Riddoch, well over a century ago, and realising its lush potential, he planted the first grapes here in the 1890’s. Many superb and innovative winemakers have followed in his footsteps and today the Coonawarra Cabernet can deservedly claim its place as a truly noble wine; with its deep colour, firm tannins and hallmark blackcurrant, mint and dried herb qualities.

Coonawarra – cool climate Cabernets of elegance and structure – try one and be impressed.
